Inhalte: |
- basic models, applications and methods from discrete and continuous optimization
- duality in linear programming
- simplex method
- branch& bound method
- optimality conditions
- globalized Newton's method
- comvergence and complexity properties of algorithms
|
Voraussetzungen: |
- basics from Analysis and Lineare Algbra
- konwledge of basic programming concepts (for, while, if)
- optional: experience with Mathalb or Python
- officially: the primal simpex method (but we will also repeat that)
|
Arbeitsaufwand: |
- 3 SWS lecture and 1 SWS exercises
- a new exercise sheet every other week
- exercise class instead of lecture every other week on Monday
