Within the module, a theoretical question on the topic of "Intelligently networked work and production" is to be worked on in depth. The students strengthen their knowledge of the theories and methods in the field of industrial and production buildings. They are able to view, analyse and reflect on the complex system of intelligently networked work and production and the underlying programmatic conditions of global and regional production networks as well as local production sites with a holistic view. This includes the identification of specific questions, the research of different research material, interdisciplinary analyses of different aspects, the critical reflection of the status quo and the design of a change scenario towards sustainable development, as well as the scientific compilation of the overall working process in oral and written form.
